IAS 5k Run/Walk

Indian Association of Sacramento has proudly started 5-K Run in year 2014. Our goal is to promote well being of our community members and also to raise money for local charity.
In the first ever 5-K run in 2014, more than 150 runners participcated. It was well received by the community. It was graciously sponsored by our well wishers and supporters. Prizes were given to fastest Male, Female and Youngest runner. Participants have enjoyed delicious Indian food at the end. We were able to raise around $2500 and it was donated to Local charity “My Sister’s house”.
In 2016, 210+ runners joined us to support Children's Receiving Home, Sacramento and raised $3,000
